Sunshine and Gardening
Well, today, surprise, surprise, the sun shone on and off all day. I got some washing done and out on the line first. Then I got out into the garden and finished weeding the rose bed. It's very soggy but I managed it. Then I planted 2 lime hating plants in the rhodedendron bed and spread ericaceous compost around in it (for lime hating plants).
The builders say they are going to demolish the barn soon and we do have a 'dip' in which to place most of the rubble, between what was our rockery and the arboretum. Unfortunately it was full of wood, so I spent quite some time digging all the wood out. Lots of nettles and brambles had grown over it, so it was quite a task. There was also a long line of thistles at the edge of the lawn, so I dug those out before the seeds spread everywhere.
I must say after that, I was quite tired, so it was cup of tea and toasted sandwich time. Yummy.
While I was working away, some evil midge bit me on the lip and it swelled up hugely. Jim kept laughing at me of course. Luckily the swelling has died down now and hopefully I'll be back to normal by the morning, and looking less like Mick Jagger.
I have put some more ATCs on my ATC Blog. For those who don't visit there, here they are:
Stone The Crows
Mrs Bear, fabric with added lace.
Beach Hut. Altered Image using sparkle gel pens and tiny gold stickers
Please let me know if you would like to swap any of these, or any of the others left on my ATC Blog. There is a link on my profile page.

These are my latest letters for the above swap group. I haven't done 'R' yet!

I'm not sure what's happening for he next few days. Buster's going into kennels until Monday as it's my birthday weekend. Woo hoo!
